What it does

In plain words.

Review trade applications, assign price lists and quantity tiers, and show approved business customers their own prices at checkout. Prepare quotations that keep their accepted prices, convert them into store orders and take repeat orders by SKU, CSV or saved list. Trade accounts stay prepaid and tax treatment is reviewed separately.

Who it is for

A good fit for your shop?

  • Shops selling to trade customers alongside retail shoppers
  • Suppliers quoting larger orders at agreed prices
  • Businesses whose trade buyers reorder the same SKUs regularly
What you get

From trade application to repeat order

Trade applications you review

Customers apply from their account with the business details you ask for and accept your current trade terms. Staff approve, reject or request more information, and approval assigns the trade group and price list.

Price lists and quantity tiers

Set prices by customer agreement, assigned price list, trade group or a dated promotion, with retail as the fallback. The highest eligible tier applies and discounts do not stack.

Trade prices at checkout

Approved customers see their trade price on supported unit products in the store and at checkout. Prices refresh when quantity, account or sign-in changes, and the feature stays off until you review it.

Quotations that keep their prices

Prepare, send and revise quotations, then record acceptance with their price and tax snapshots. An accepted quotation can reserve stock for up to seven days and convert into one store order for collection.

Quick orders by SKU or CSV

Prepare trade orders from exact SKUs and quantities, a sku, quantity CSV or a saved company list. Every preview reprices and checks minimums, case multiples, stock and any required purchase-order reference.

A protected trade catalogue

Mark products as trade-only and choose which trade groups can see them, including their variations. Protected products are hidden from other visitors in the storefront and API.

In practice

Three cases, not thirty-six loose units

A product sold in twelve-unit cases can require trade orders in whole cases. Quick orders convert the entered quantity to base units and check minimums and case multiples before anything is saved. Three cases become 36 base units, priced from the customer's current rules.

In practice

A quote the customer can rely on

Once a customer accepts a quotation, its prices and tax basis are frozen. Reserve the stock for up to seven days while they arrange collection, then convert it into one store order with pending payment. Retail and trade checkouts check the same stock before a sale completes.

How it works

Start with one useful test.

  1. Set your trade terms

Choose the business details you need, publish your trade terms and create price lists in a fixed currency and tax basis.

  2. Approve trade customers

Review each application, assign a trade group and price list, and link the account to the customer's store login.

  3. Quote and take orders

Prepare quotations or quick orders, record acceptance and convert accepted quotations into store orders.

Before you buy

Requirements.

These details describe the Botble edition. Check the platform, services and equipment your shop uses.

  • Botble and WooCommerce use separate native packages. These requirements describe Botble; WooCommerce requirements are listed separately below.
  • The Botble edition requires Botble CMS 7.6.0 or later with Ecommerce active, plus All Operations Core, which is included in the download and installed first.
  • Trade checkout pricing supports ordinary unit products. Bundles, product options, pack modes and basket promotions are not combined with trade prices; unsupported baskets stop for review.
  • Quotation conversion creates a collection order with pending payment. Invoices, payment collection and tax calculation stay with your store and accounting processes.

Requirements

Native WooCommerce edition.

  • Package requirements: WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.1+ and active WooCommerce.
  • Use WordPress and PHP versions that meet the requirements of both this plugin and your installed WooCommerce version.
  • Requires the All Operations Core WooCommerce edition, installed and activated first.
  • Trade checkout pricing supports ordinary unit products; bundles, product options and basket promotions stop for review. Check your caching setup before enabling trade prices or protected products.
  • Use transactional InnoDB storage and working WordPress cron for quotation expiry and stock commitments.

Getting started

  1. Publish your trade application fields and terms, then approve a test business customer.
  2. Assign a price list and check prices as that customer, an anonymous visitor and a customer from another company.
  3. Prepare and accept a quotation, reserve its stock and convert it on a copy of the shop before inviting trade customers.

Perpetual licences include 12 months of updates and support. After that, extend them a year at a time for £95 a year, whenever you like, even before the current year ends. Monthly and yearly plans always include updates and support.

  • Monthly is term use: the plugin, its updates and support for each month you pay for.
  • Yearly is the same term use paid in advance, at ten months' price for twelve months.
  • A perpetual licence is yours to keep. It includes 12 months of updates and support; afterwards you can carry on using every version you were entitled to, and extend updates and support a year at a time at the support rate (half the standard yearly price) whenever you want them.
  • One licence covers one live site and its linked staging site. Another live site needs another licence.
  • Buy more than one perpetual licence in the same checkout and the highest-priced plugin is charged in full, with 20% off each additional distinct plugin, worked out on the prices shown (launch prices while the offer runs).
  • Extend support for several perpetual licences together and the highest-priced extension is charged in full, with 20% off each additional one. Extending early adds a year to the end of your current cover; nothing renews automatically.
  • Prices include applicable VAT/sales tax and the support stated for your plan. GBP is the reference currency. Marketplace accounts, hosting, hardware and external API fees are separate. We add no payment processing surcharge.

Questions

Useful details before you choose.

The workflow, its limits and what is separate.

Still need a hand?
Can trade customers buy on credit?

Approved trade accounts stay prepaid, and no automated credit scoring is included.

Does approving a trade account make the customer tax exempt?

No. Trade approval, credit and tax treatment are separate decisions. Your store's tax settings still calculate tax, and quotations record the tax basis used.

What happens to an accepted quotation if prices change?

It keeps its accepted prices, currency and tax basis. New quotations and orders use the current rules. Pausing a price list holds new orders for review rather than falling back to retail prices.

How are trade prices kept out of shared caches?

Shared product caches are bypassed while the protected catalogue is on, and protected pages are marked private for each signed-in customer. A CDN or external cache outside the plugin needs its own review.
