Put your online store to work at the till.

Run named tills, design your receipts and take cash, configured card payments or a link for the balance.

What it does

In plain words.

Run your shop counter with named tills, your own branding, a compact basket and receipts designed your way. Choose your payment methods and whether to use cash-on and cash-off counts. Search or scan products, add custom amounts and customers, and refund the original amount paid after discounts. Send remote payment links while serving the next customer.

Who it is for

A good fit for your shop?

  • Retailers bringing their store catalogue to a physical counter
  • Teams using several tills and configured Square, Stripe or SumUp payments
  • Shops combining loyalty and weighed items in one basket
What you get

Your catalogue, ready for the counter

Choose your till

Add named tills and locations, then choose where to work. Use opening floats and cash-off counts, or switch cash management off for simpler serving. Each till keeps its own sales, payment and refund records.

Cash, card and payment links

Enable the payment methods your shop uses. Connect Square, Stripe or SumUp, take a normal cash/card/loyalty split, or collect cash and send a secure link for the balance. Save it in Awaiting payments and serve the next customer. Where your provider permits telephone card entry, use its own dashboard and record the confirmed reference with manager approval, including within a normal split.

Refund what was paid

Return all or part of a sale using its saved prices after discounts. Scan the transaction barcode on the receipt to open the return, with cash refunds, card refunds and restored loyalty points shown separately.

Count cash your way

With cash management enabled, enter the number of notes and coins or their total value. Review sales, refunds, collected deposits and cash movements, check the difference, and choose the float to leave for the next session. Turn cash counts off when your shop does not need them.

Design your own receipts

Write your own layout with values such as {order_number}, {till_name} and {total}, or insert full item and payment sections. Add your logo, keep your spacing, then preview, save, print or email the actual receipt. Email native PDF invoices separately.

Products, customers and custom amounts

Search, scan and filter products in a compact selling workspace. Enable custom charges and customer creation when your team needs them. Enrol customers in All Loyalty when they choose to join. Connect All Weighted Products for measured sales. Choose your customer-screen logo and set your own till and customer-screen colours in Settings. Product images and a subtle scan animation help customers follow their basket while the total stays visible.

In practice

Send the balance. Serve the next customer.

A full payment link or cash-and-link split keeps its original basket, customer and till. Confirmed cash is counted immediately; the provider requests only the balance. Move the request into Awaiting payments while the server confirms payment and saves one order. If an unpaid link is safely closed, its cash deposit stays visible until it is explicitly returned.

In practice

A partial return stays tied to what was paid

Return a few items or part of a measured quantity using the original sale after discounts, coupons and tax. The preview shows the remaining refundable amount and keeps every penny accounted for across repeat returns. Cash, card and restored loyalty points stay separate; today's product price cannot increase the refund.

How it works

Start with one useful test.

  1. Prepare a test till

Install on a copy of your store, configure staff permissions, register settings and terminal credentials, and connect any required local hardware bridge.

  2. Exercise the full sale

Test products, discounts, cash and terminal payments, interrupted payments, receipts, stock and refunds with your actual equipment.

  3. Review each shift

Review payment sessions and register records for each till. Reconcile the day’s sales, cash and refunds, with the details available when a member of staff needs to follow up.

Before you buy

Requirements.

These details describe the Botble edition. Check the platform, services and equipment your shop uses.

  • Botble and WooCommerce use separate native packages. Choose the edition for your store and check its requirements below.
  • The Botble edition requires Botble CMS 7.0.0 or later with Ecommerce active.
  • Card and payment-link options need a configured supported provider. Telephone card entry needs provider account approval and a confirmed payment reference. Remote links support actual cash deposits; loyalty and additional card prepayments use normal till splits. Email needs a sending mail service; Square text invoices are completed in Square. Provider fees and hardware are separate.
  • Printing, cash drawers and scale reads require a configured local bridge and tested device commands. All Loyalty and All Weighted Products are separate plugins.

Requirements

Native WooCommerce edition.

  • Plugin header minimum: WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.1+ and active WooCommerce (no numeric minimum is declared in this package header).
  • Use WordPress and PHP versions that meet the requirements of both this plugin and your installed WooCommerce version.
  • PHP OpenSSL, Sodium and GD, plus transactional InnoDB native order/product/history tables. The store currency and WooCommerce price format must use two decimal places.
  • Card/payment-link options need your own configured supported provider account. Printing, drawers and scales need compatible equipment and the optional paired Node.js bridge. Pretty permalinks are required for native device polling.
  • All Loyalty, All Weighted Products and All Stock are separate optional integrations. Email receipts need a sending mail service.

Getting started

  1. Review WooCommerce currency, tax and product settings. Configure a named station, receipt branding and the payment methods you intend to accept.
  2. Open a genuine operator session and cash register. On a copy of the shop, complete a sale, an interrupted-payment recovery and a refund.
  3. Pair and calibrate each actual device before counter use. Reconcile an uncertain payment before attempting to take it again.

Perpetual licences include 12 months of updates and support. After that, extend them a year at a time for £145 a year, whenever you like, even before the current year ends. Monthly and yearly plans always include updates and support.

  • Monthly is term use: the plugin, its updates and support for each month you pay for.
  • Yearly is the same term use paid in advance, at ten months' price for twelve months.
  • A perpetual licence is yours to keep. It includes 12 months of updates and support; afterwards you can carry on using every version you were entitled to, and extend updates and support a year at a time at the support rate (half the standard yearly price) whenever you want them.
  • One licence covers one live site and its linked staging site. Another live site needs another licence.
  • Buy more than one perpetual licence in the same checkout and the highest-priced plugin is charged in full, with 20% off each additional distinct plugin, worked out on the prices shown (launch prices while the offer runs).
  • Extend support for several perpetual licences together and the highest-priced extension is charged in full, with 20% off each additional one. Extending early adds a year to the end of your current cover; nothing renews automatically.
  • Prices include applicable VAT/sales tax and the support stated for your plan. GBP is the reference currency. Marketplace accounts, hosting, hardware and external API fees are separate. We add no payment processing surcharge.

Questions

Useful details before you choose.

The workflow, its limits and what is separate.

Still need a hand?
Can I manage more than one till?

Yes. Create named tills and keep their sales, payment sessions and register records together. Each till retains its own cash management and reconciliation history.

Are printers, card terminals and scales included?

No. The licence covers the plugin. Provider accounts and compatible hardware are separate, and local printing, drawer and scale workflows need bridge configuration and device testing.

Can I use loyalty and sell items by weight?

Yes, through the supported integrations. Choose a loyalty provider in the settings and install All Weighted Products for weighed sales. Those plugins and any needed hardware are separate from the POS licence.

Can I take some cash and send a link for the rest?

Yes. Confirm the cash was received, then send a configured provider link for the remaining balance and move it into Awaiting payments. The deposit is counted once in its original till. If the unpaid link is safely cancelled or expires, return its cash through the explicit cash-deposit return action; closing the link alone does not give money back. Deferred links do not reserve loyalty points or accept an unverified card prepayment.

Can staff enter a card manually as part of a split?

Where your provider account permits telephone/manual card entry, staff enter the details only in that provider's secure dashboard. After a successful charge, its confirmed reference is recorded with manager approval for the card amount, alongside cash or loyalty in a normal till split. This records an actual external payment; it does not charge the card again.

Can I write my own receipt rather than use fixed blocks?

Yes. Type your wording and insert values such as {order_number}, {till_name}, {date} and {total}, or full {items} and {payments} sections. Your spaces, blank lines, logo and paper settings are kept in the native preview, print and email layout. Save & use selects the edited layout for its receipt type.

Can I turn off cash counting or payment methods?

Yes. All POS settings let you enable cash management, cash payments, reader card payments, payment links, split payments, manual card recording, custom amounts and new customer creation. Cash management starts enabled; turning it off removes opening and closing count prompts while retaining per-till records. Disabled methods cannot start a new payment. Existing requests, recorded sales and refunds keep their normal recovery routes.

Can I match my shop's branding?

Yes. Choose colours for the till and customer screen with the built-in colour pickers and preview them before saving. Text and light highlights adapt to keep the chosen colours readable. Pick your own customer-screen logo from Media; receipt logos and layouts remain separate choices.
