Connection & sync settings

These settings are stored per website. This lets you use the same plugin on any site without code changes (you only change configuration in this page).

Connect your own eBay seller account

All eBay uses the publisher’s shared application. Activate your licence, then open Accounts and choose Connect to eBay. Your developer keys are not needed.

Seller tokens stay encrypted in your shop. Application credentials stay with the publisher.

General

Connection permissions are managed by All Programming. Order and stock settings below apply to this shop.

Webhook topics (comma/space/newline separated) These are eBay Notification API topic IDs the plugin will try to subscribe to when you click Setup Webhooks. Some topics are buyer-only and will be skipped automatically if eBay returns 195011. Default: ORDER_CONFIRMATION.

All Programming handles availability alerts for the shared eBay application. Your shop keeps its own connection and synchronization status.

Default merchant location key This is the merchantLocationKey used by eBay's Inventory API (max 36 chars). You choose the value (e.g. DEFAULT). The location must exist in eBay before you can publish offers.

Seller identity used in listing templates

These values are storefront identity only. They are never sent as the product manufacturer brand. Leave a field blank to inherit it from your Botble store/theme settings and connected eBay account.

Inventory location address (required to publish offers)

When listing through the Inventory API, eBay requires at least one inventory location. For a WAREHOUSE location, eBay requires either postalCode + country or city + stateOrProvince + country. Fill this in once, then use Accounts → Setup Inventory Location.

eBay Store (Shop)

Enable eBay Store categories

When enabled, the plugin can sync your Botble product categories into your eBay Store category tree and auto-map the Store Category IDs. The Store Category ID becomes read-only and is shown on the category mappings page.

Use this to create/update your eBay Store category tree to match your Botble product categories. This runs across all production marketplaces that have a connected eBay account.

Enable eBay Store categories and click Save settings to unlock sync.

When a Botble shipment is dispatched (or an order completed), tell eBay and send the tracking number and courier

Wait for a tracking number (hours)

eBay cannot change a dispatch notice once sent. A shipment marked dispatched without a tracking number is held back for this long so the number can still be added; enter 0 to notify eBay straight away (untracked services).

Manual order sync

Pull changed eBay orders into Botble and also push any Botble-completed eBay orders back to eBay.

Tracking is taken from Botble shipments when available. If carrier/tracking isn't available, the plugin can still mark the order shipped on eBay without tracking.

Automatic eBay stock safety check

Recalculate every live listing from current Botble stock and bundle components, then keep both the eBay inventory-item quantity and live offer quantity correct.

How often

Reconciliation mode

Verify mode is recommended. Force mode skips the read-back and writes the current quantity every time.

Before a correction run, the plugin imports the latest eBay orders, cancellations and refunds when order sync is enabled. It then recalculates catalogue products, virtual bundles, kits, multipacks and variations from their current Botble/component stock. Quantity revisions update existing live offers; they do not create a new listing.

eBay profit settings

Global assumptions used by every listing profit preview. Botble product prices and purchase costs are never changed.

VAT on eBay fees (%)

The VAT or sales-tax rate shown on your eBay fee invoices. Enter 0 if your fees are not taxed.

VAT recovery Treat VAT on eBay fees as recoverable input VAT

Leave this off unless the business is entitled to reclaim the VAT shown on eBay fee invoices.

Buyer-paid postage comes from each listing's delivery plan (Selling setup step) and counts as revenue; buyer tax is treated as 0. Promoted Listings and multi-buy fees are taken directly from each listing's actual Marketing settings.

Bulk multi-buy discount push

Re-send the saved multi-buy/volume-discount promotion for every published production listing that has multi-buy enabled. Listings with no saved eBay promotion ID are processed first.

This tool updates only the eBay multi-buy promotion. It does not relist the item or change its title, description, price or stock. Automatic mode recalculates the safe 2+/3+/4+ ladder first; manual mode sends the saved percentages.

Listing editor overrides

Enable per-listing wildcard overrides (editable copy stored per listing)

When enabled, the Listing Editor will store a copy of all wildcard values for each listing so they can be tweaked per-listing. Product edits will not automatically overwrite those values unless you opt-in.

How product updates behave

Overrides disabled: listings always render directly from the product + template defaults, and changes are pushed automatically.
Overrides enabled: a checkbox is shown on the product edit page to optionally push updates to eBay for that save.

Debug logging

Enable debug mode (save eBay request/response payloads)

When enabled, the plugin stores API requests and responses in the database so you can download and share them for troubleshooting. Sensitive values like access tokens and refresh tokens are automatically redacted.

Max debug logs to keep Oldest logs are deleted automatically when the limit is reached.
